Welcome to our first issue of The New PacifiCon News. This newsletter was created to introduce fans to the activities in Earth2 fandom involving the first fan-run convention, New PacifiCon '96. Please contact me with any comments/questions about this publication at NNEILAN@UNLINFO.UNL.EDU

The frequency of publication is yet to be determined, so please be patient. Most likely, whenever there's something amazingly interesting to report. The convention committee thanks you for your interest and we hope to meet everyone in person next April!
New PacifiCon is run completely by volunteers, and additional volunteers are very welcome! We need gophers, planners, organizers. Please contact us -- we need you!
Since this is our first issue, let's get going with the fundamental information. New PacifiCon '96 will be held April 19, 20, & 21, 1996 at the Pinnacle Hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Negotiations are currently underway with several other cast members and production team people from Earth2. Check out the latest responses from those we have contacted on the official convention Web site. Note: All celebrity agreements to appear are subject to professional availability.

Other Information:
For Attendees:
Adult 3-day ticket: $50.00 for one pass to New PacifiCon '96 for an entire weekend of Earth2 memories, relaxation and FUN!
Junior 3-day ticket: $25.00 for one pass to New PacifiCon '96 (ages 6 to 17, must be accompanied by an adult. No ticket required for children under six who are accompanied by an adult.
VIP ticket: TBA
For those who wish to support New PacifiCon '96:
Basic Donation: With your $20.00 donation you receive a New PacifiCon fantasy t-shirt (+ $3.00 S&H). Shirts available in limited quantities. Order before December 31, 1995 for best selection. Send check/money order to the California address with your order form.
Sustaining Donation (coming soon): With your $35.00 donation you reserve your New PacifiCon '96 convention t-shirt and copy of the convention program signed by all our Guests of Honor.
